Evektor to produce airframe subassemblies of L-39NG training combat aircraft 1

The world´s largest jet trainer producer Aero Vodochody has selected Evektor-Aerotechnik to produce front and tail assembly of fuselage, aerodynamic brakes and package of detailed parts for L-39NG training combat aircraft. L-39NG is a next generation of the legendary L-39 Albatros jet trainer which is operated in air forces of more than 30 countries.  L-39NG combines the proven aerodynamic concept with the most advanced systems and modern manufacturing technologies. L-39NG has a redesigned airframe with reduced weight and increased life, new Williams FJ44-4M engine and modern glass cockpit avionics.“We are keen for production of L-39NG airframe assemblies” said Vladimír Matela, Managing Director of Evektor-Aerotechnik a.s. “L-39 has built a great reputation on the market of jet training aircraft and the new L-39NG with the modern systems and technologies brings further benefits to air forces. Evektor has recently acquired most modern production technologies and combined with our almost 50 year aircraft production experience and certified aircraft production by civil and military authorities we are excited to support L-39NG project”.

L-39NG is further extension of Evektor´s production cooperation activities with industry leaders. The company developes and produces interior parts for Zodiac Aerospace for Airbus airline aircraft, is developing cooperation with Bell Helicopter Prague, a.s. and cooperates with other manufacturing companies from industry. Recently Evektor was involved in modernization of L-410NG turboprop from Aircraft Industries.

Evektor is a design, engineering and aircraft manufacturing company from the Czech Republic, with almost 50 year of aircraft manufacturing experience and sales network in 40 countries worldwide. Evektor produces light sport aircraft and has under development utility twin engine turboprop EV-55 Outback for transportation of 9 to 14 passengers. The company is supplier of machined parts for OEMs and has extensive development activities in the area of automotive and mechanical engineering industry.
